Cake Pops puts the fun in cake!! They’re the perfect little sweet treat that you eat right off the stick! They’re perfect for kids, but I’m here to tell you that adults love them too! Be sure to make some Christmas Cake Pops to set out with your Christmas desserts this year!
I really owe any cake pop skills that I have to Toni at Make Bake Celebrate. She has skills like I’ve never seen before. If you want to be inspired, head on over to her site! I wish I had half her talent.
Cake Pop making isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s definitely easier to make a cake, frost it, and sprinkle on some sprinkles. But really, would that be as fun as these Christmas Cake Pops? I don’t think so.
I used a package cake mix and homemade buttercream frosting for my cake pops. For full detailed instructions on Cake Pop making, I urge you to head over to Toni’s site. She shows you the step by step process and talks about types of chocolate to use and shares her tips and tricks with you.
And you can certainly bet that my little helper enjoyed her cake pop (or two or three)!!
Here’s the buttercream recipe I used, and yes, it came from Make Bake Celebrate. I’m sharing her basic recipe, but she talks about the perfect consistency on her site and also shares her tips and favorite brands with you.
